IT Support Technician [Philippines]


 

We are a Managed Service Provider (MSP) that has been handling IT management and support for a select number of clients for over 25 years.

Our clients are in a number of industries, including construction, consulting, warehousing, manufacturing, and more.

Most of our clients outsource 100% of their IT needs to us, so we must be able to wear multiple hats to provide the best client experience.

The description below is as accurate as possible, but keep in mind that the demands in this role will change over time. This is the nature of modern information technology roles. Whatever our clients need, we will do our best to deliver.

This role is responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining the end-user devices at client sites, including workstations and peripherals. Some basic server tasks will also be required. If your career objectives are to improve your server and network skills, consider this role and we can improve your skills in these areas. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • All work will be done remotely
  • Assist help desk team in providing the best experience for clients
  • Take ownership of assigned requests from inception to resolution
  • End-user device repairs, replacements, and configuration
  • Onboarding and offboarding tasks for new employees
  • Software support, especially for certain proprietary applications (training will be provided)
  • Printer installation and configuration
  • Resolve end-user requests, including troubleshooting both hardware and software issues
  • Remediate threats (malicious software, account compromises, etc.)
  • Assist with tracking IT assets
  • Assist with IT documentation (for internal and client use)
  • Assist with IT projects

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing Windows computers
  • Deep understanding of Windows 7, 10, and 11, including how to install and configure drivers for peripheral devices
  • Experience with Active Directory
  • Experience with basic server and workstation repair tasks
  • Experience with basic networking tasks
  • Experience with antivirus tools and malware remediation
  • Experience with basic and some advanced features in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Professionalism is paramount and strong customer service skills are required. We are of service to clients and we are fortunate to be in a position to help them.
  • Strong multitasking skills are required -- you will always have several requests open at once.
  • Ability to work autonomously or within a team, depending on the situation.
  • Must pass background check.
  • Must pass drug test.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
