JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Manage transactions with customers using cash registers, credit cards and other monde of payment. Ensure that all payment transactions are accurate and processed.
- Encode and register incoming/in-bound inventories during delivery. Must ensure that all product codes are accurate.
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
- Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
- Ensure that there will be no sales discrepancy and all sales must be reported daily.
- Cashier is attentive to detail, customer-focused, and knowledgeable about the products available in the store. They also have to maintain composure in the face of angry, frustrated, or flustered customers.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Work experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar role in sales
- Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
- Good math skills
- Knows how to navigate an inventory system
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Customer Service
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Business, Secretarial or any related field
- Must have at least 2 years’ experience as Store Cashier
