Job Description: HR Compensation and Benefits Officer

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Compensation and Benefits Officer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and administer all aspects of employee compensation and benefits programs. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in payroll processing and be knowledgeable about SSS, Philhealth, and Pagibig regulations and requirements.

Responsibilities:

Compensation Management:

Administer the organization's compensation programs, including salary structures, job evaluations, and incentive plans.

Conduct salary surveys and market research to ensure competitive and fair compensation practices.

Review and analyze salary data to determine appropriate salary adjustments and promotions.

Collaborate with managers and HR team to develop and implement effective compensation strategies.

Benefits Administration:

Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits.

Educate employees about benefit options, eligibility, and enrollment processes.

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to benefits programs.

Handle employee inquiries and resolve issues regarding benefits.

Payroll Processing:

Process payroll accurately and timely, including gathering and verifying attendance, leaves, and other relevant data.

Calculate and input salary adjustments, incentives, and deductions.

Prepare payroll reports, including tax withholding, deductions, and contributions.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records.

Compliance with SSS, Philhealth, and Pagibig:

Stay updated on the latest regulations and guidelines from SSS, Philhealth, and Pagibig.

Ensure timely and accurate submission of necessary reports and payments to these government agencies.

Handle employee inquiries and assist with any concerns related to SSS, Philhealth, and Pagibig contributions.

Recordkeeping and Reporting:

Maintain confidential employee records related to compensation, benefits, and payroll.

Generate reports and provide analysis on compensation and benefits data as needed.

Assist with audits and compliance reviews related to compensation, benefits, and payroll.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Proven experience as an HR Compensation and Benefits Officer or a similar role.

In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and regulations.

Strong understanding of payroll processing and associated legal requirements.

Familiarity with SSS, Philhealth, and Pagibig regulations and procedures.

Proficient in using payroll software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.

Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From Php18,000.00 per month
