Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and passionate MAPEH teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging and effective lesson plans in music, arts, physical education, and health.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and implement engaging and effective lesson plans in line with the school's curriculum and academic standards.
- Teach visual arts, physical education, and health to students in various grade levels.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture that supports student learning and engagement.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents on a regular basis.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and technologies to ensure student understanding and success.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create interdisciplinary learning experiences.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching and learning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Music, Arts, Physical Education, Health, Education, or a related field.
- Valid LET license.
- Minimum of 1 year teaching experience at the high school level.
- Strong knowledge of the subject matter and ability to effectively communicate it to students.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
