Financial Controller
Location: Pasig City, Philippines
Type: Permanent / Employment Contract
Role
- Lead and oversee the financial operations of multiple entities in the Philippines operating in the casino industry.
- Manage and guide a team of finance professionals to ensure accurate and complete financial reporting in accordance with IFRS. This includes the preparation of month-end financial reporting packs.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of monthly financial and operational performance to provide reliable and meaningful insights.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including strong knowledge of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and CFT (Combating the Financing of Terrorism) regulations. Timely submission of statutory filings to the Central Bank of the Philippines and other relevant authorities is essential.
- Act as a key liaison between the finance headquarters and the local finance and business teams.
- Implement and ensure timely and regular reconciliations for areas such as inventory, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Handle external auditors and tax authorities with minimal supervision and serve as the main point of contact for resolving audit issues.
- Continuously review processes and drive efficiency improvements, including potential new system rollouts by collaborating with HQ.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and feedback to team members to support their long-term career development and retention of key talent.
- Coach team members to address process gaps and identify inefficiencies.
- Previous experience in the Casino / iGaming industry will be a plus, showcasing familiarity with industry-specific financial practices and regulations.
Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, or a similar qualification with a minimum of 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
- 3+ years’ senior management experience.
- CPA certification is preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop a team of finance professionals.
- Knowledge of the Payments Industry will be beneficial.
- Knowledge of PAGCOR regulations will be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of AML and CFT regulations is key.
- Self-motivated individual with excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills and cross-cultural fluency.
- Hands-on approach to identifying and resolving accounting and auditing issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with SAP is an added advantage.

Salary: Php1,500,000.00 - Php2,800,000.00 per year
