Australian Client Services Officer | Remote


 

We are searching for a Client Services Officer who will be responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of an excellent service provided to valued clients, as well as handling client service administration and customer questions. The ideal candidate for this post is a person who is passionate about people and has the desire and capacity to handle several client situations at once - it is a busy role that will allow your client service and interpersonal skills to show.

Responsibilities:

  • Support to the client, including, but not limited to, maintaining the CRM.
  • Preparing wrapping up letters, invoices, and documents for sending out to clients.
  • Responsible for lodgement and processing of Income Tax return and Business Activity statements of clients in ATO Portal.
  • Draft correspondence to client for ATO and ASIC communications was requested.
  • Download relevant ATO and ASIC documentation for team members as per request.
  • Manages ASIC annual statements review process for all clients.
  • Responsible for lodgment of all ASIC related changes and updates.
  • Execute record filing system to improve document organization and management.
  • Develop and update spreadsheets, databases, and digital files to maintain current, accurate and compliant documentation and report on performance and sales data.
  • Handles client correspondence and track records to foster office efficiency.
  • Prepare timely and accurate presentations and reports using MS Office applications.
  • Prepare and distribute team-based communications with approval of Supervisor, to foster collaboration and enhance team morale.
  • Provide support to the team to ensure that company goals and objectives are accomplished, and operations run efficiently.
  • Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials and exercise discretion when interfacing with the business.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
  • 2+ years of experience in in Australian Accounting and Bookkeeping.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, XERO, XPM and ATO Portal.
  • You’re an excellent communicator able to give clear written and verbal communication to everyone.
  • You thrive on using your analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to identify and solve issues before they arise.
  • You can work in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management and prioritization skills and sense of urgency to address critical business issues.
  • You can see the big picture while focusing on the process and procedures necessary to produce deliverable.
